Fulham Palace was home to the Bishops of London for more than 1,200 years. From wandering neolithic tribesmen to dinner with Queen Elizabeth I, the site itself has seen around 10,000 years of history.
Managed by the Fulham Palace Trust today, the palace sits beautifully as an exceptional historic building and a vibrant part of Fulham’s community.
As a freelance copywriter, I volunteered with Fulham Palace’s marketing team to create web content, fundraising communications, social media content and project signage. The palace is about to undergo a further phase of restoration and, with it, a brand overhaul. I’m delighted to be involved in creating the new marketing strategy for the palace.

“Amy worked as a Marketing Volunteer at Fulham Palace, specialising in copywriting and helped with several of our bigger campaigns including Sponsor A Brick, Dig The History and our regular What’s On guides. Amy recognised that some of our copy had previously been a little staid and she strived to put the visitor experience at the heart of our communications. As well as offline projects, Amy also provided invaluable assistance with updating web content and tailoring messages for social media channels. I would recommend Amy wholeheartedly for any marketing and communication projects.”
