Eggnog and myrrh, anyone?

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanza, Io Saturnalia! and Season’s Greetings to all the amazing clients I’ve worked with in 2018 and to my fellow copywriters and marketers.

This year’s client card is a simple one.  My brief was to use as few visual cues as possible and still create a festive feel. And it didn’t prove too hard.

Because it turns out there’s a whole dictionary that we only take out for Christmas reference. I’ve genuinely no idea what a sugar plum is or whether a partridge is the size of a pigeon or an emu (though pear trees are small, I think). But I don’t bat an eyelid when someone mentions them in December.

I contemplated sticking with black and white, but Christmas isn’t the time for being needlessly spartan.

So, here it is. Very best wishes for a joyful, peaceful and productive 2019.
